Your first session will usually start by me asking you what you want from our sessions.
We will determine what your overall outcome or outcomes are. We will then decide what exactly needs to be done in order for you to make these changes and reach your outcomes.
A series of weekly (preferable, though could be twice
weekly or fortnightly) sessions will then take place in
Chapel Allerton, Leeds. Later sessions can be done over
the phone if you prefer, with you having already sent me
a cheque and calling me at an agreed time.
During these sessions we will talk and use different
techniques. Some of these techniques consist of allowing
you to be aware of what goes on inside yourself and in
and around you. They also help you become aware of why
you or others act out certain behaviours.
I will encourage you to use these techniques yourself at home, therefore, possibly cutting down the amount of time you spend with me. I will always push you to get to your initial outcome/outcomes as soon as possible. However, we will always go at your pace and I will always be there to support you.
